Kkeuthan Clinic Cryo Management
Cryo soothing management is not just a cold compress; it's a 'recovery design'.
After skin procedures such as laser, high-frequency, peeling, and MTS, a sensation of heat remains on the skin.
This heat goes beyond just a 'stinging' sensation,
leading to inflammation, moisture evaporation, and melanin cell stimulation,
which can cause various side effects such as redness, pigmentation, and breakouts.
What's needed at this time is cryo soothing management.
However, a simple cold compress is not enough.
The key is temperature control tailored to skin physiology, the combination of applied ingredients, and customized design according to skin condition.
Key Difference 1. Temperature Accuracy + Penetration
Precisely controlling the cooling temperature (-10~5 degrees Celsius)
We use 'i-COOL plus' management to induce soothing down to the dermis.
When the temperature is lowered to the dermis, the regeneration speed itself increases.
*Why a skin temperature of '8 degrees Celsius or lower' is important
Unlike general cold compresses, cryo management precisely controls the cooling temperature (-10~5 degrees Celsius),
allowing for soothing care down to the dermis based on temperature accuracy.
1) Vasoconstriction effect initiation temperature: approx. 10℃ or lower
When skin temperature drops below 10℃, blood vessels in the epidermis and dermis begin to constrict.
During this process, redness, swelling, and heat sensation rapidly decrease.
2) Inflammatory cytokine suppression initiation point: 8℃ or lower
When the temperature drops below 8 degrees Celsius, the main signaling substances that cause inflammation
(such as IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α) are suppressed, according to research findings.
3) Peripheral nerve impulse transmission rate ↓ → Pain relief
When the temperature drops below 8 degrees Celsius, the conduction velocity of peripheral nerve endings slows down, dulling sensations such as stinging and throbbing.
Key Difference 2. Differentiated Topical Applications
To move beyond "just a cold compress",
you need to apply gels and ampoules tailored to your skin type before cryo management.
1. Ultrasound Gel or Aloe Gel
LDM-exclusive Ultrasound Gel: Highly conductive for excellent cooling efficiency, rapidly transferring heat during device use.
Hypoallergenic Aloe Gel: Contains anti-inflammatory and soothing ingredients, effective for sensitive or inflamed skin.
2. Ampoule Mix: Triple Formula tailored to skin type
Whitening Ampoule: Prevents pigmentation, used after melasma and blemish treatments
Soothing Ampoule: Suppresses inflammation with soothing ingredients
Hydrating Ampoule: Hyaluronic acid-based for barrier moisturization
Key Difference 3. Different Time and Temperature Control for Each Soothing Purpose
1. For soothing management aimed at rapid heat sensation blockage and reduction of redness/swelling
Set the temperature to -6°C ~ -8°C and manage for 5 minutes or less to suppress inflammation with intense cooling in a short period.
2. For gradual soothing and when long-term stable cooling is required
Set the temperature to -3°C ~ -6°C and manage for 5 minutes or more with safe cooling that doesn't irritate the skin for an extended period, thereby accelerating recovery.
Recommended For

- 2. When redness persists for a long time after a procedure due to rosacea or sensitive skin
- 3. When post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is a concern after pigment lasers, IPL, etc.
- 4. When you want to control inflammatory reactions and sebum secretion for blemish-prone skin
- 5. Skin that is sensitive to heat and easily flares up after a procedure
